Anyways, the Akamusha katana is a repolished Bushi Forge Folded katana. The katana has a new 11.65 inch tsuka core in haichi shape with a slight morozori curve with a full rayskin wrap of very high quality, premium stingray skin imported from Namikawa. There is a large emperors node visible. The handle is wrapped in dark red silk also from Namikawa, along with a matching sageo.

The tsuba is solid copper with several Samurai engaged in battle, and the reverse features Mt. Fuji. The fuchi and kashira also feature Samurai, and the menuki are Kabuto helmets.

This blade is a well balanced, hefty blade suitable for the Mongol hordes it was designed to defend against. The heavier koshirae pulls the balance back further on the blade, but the overall weight still makes this an easy to balance piece.
